If there is one thing we are able to enjoy here in Crescent Beach it’s charm. Whether it’s the laid back atmosphere of beach side bar and grill vibes or it’s the dreamy creamy scoop of ice cream from across the street, Crescent Beach has just enough charm to keep you content. During this time of the year, it’s enough to remind us to be thankful for the efforts of this small community to keep life simple and enjoyable. M.F. Robinson’s Barbershop & Salon
If you are looking for a way to treat yourself or your man to a fresh face, stop by and see Mary Faith Robinson at her Barbershop and Salon. It is now open Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am – 2pm. They specialize in men’s cuts and beard trims. Enjoy a nice hot towel and a neck shave, or treat your fella when you are here getting ready for a night out. Send him over to Mary Faith Robinson and she will clean him up right! 904-495-8736
Crescent Beach Bar & Grill
We are so thankful for good food and good vibes, so we recommend filling your belly at the Crescent Beach Bar & Grill. Our staff members have enjoyed their lunchtimes a little more since this restaurant opened across the street. Take a look at their menu on their website: www.crescentbeachgrill.com Enjoy Happy Hour from 3pm – 7pm and then you can wander back to your suite at Beacher’s Lodge. Catch live music every Wednesday and Friday nights. If trivia or karaoke are more your scene, check them out on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. For our little area, Crescent Beach Bar and Grill is a great chill spot.
Island Ice Cream & Coffee
For those of us who live on caffeine and sugar, Island Ice Cream & Coffee is that perfect treat when nothing else sounds right. Indulge in some of their funkiest flavors or stick to an all time favorite, either way you are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth at this little shop right across the street from Beacher’s Lodge. You can keep up with them on their social media page ww.facebook.com/islandicecreamcafe/ or just hop on over across the way and see what is happening. There are muffins and croissants, but if you want our suggestion, try the Honey Island (hot or cold) it is always the right decision! Delcious!
Tony’s Pizza
If you’ve stayed at Beacher’s Lodge, you probably are familiar with Tony’s Pizza. We have been so fortunate over the many years to enjoy a slice of pizza or a calzone just across the street. Tony’s is a very kind neighbor and has always taken very good care of our guests and visitors when they are in the mood for a quick bite. When you don’t feel like heading out, Tony’s will deliver in, which is enough to make us all thankful every once in a while. Just give them a call and they will be on their way to your condo with a delicious pie! 904-471-8660
We see a new tattoo shop in the plaza now too, so if you are really in the mood to make your visit to Beacher’s Lodge last a lifetime, then you can check them out… we are not quite sure if you will always be thankful for those decisions, but it’s certainly a way to make a memory here in Crescent Beach. Over the years, we have seen several shops open and close and we are always thankful for the businesses that open their hearts and their doors here in our Crescent Beach community. Get out, enjoy the neighborhood and be THANKFUL!
