Nights of Lights Wine and Carriage Rides
From December 9th through January 31st, cruise through the oldest city in America in a horse-drawn carriage. Enjoy the Nights of Lights while sipping a glass of wine! If you’re lucky, your host might even be Santa himself! Head to 47 Cordova Street from 6pm-9pm every night during the holidays for a memorable tour through the Nights of Lights. *Must be 21 or older to participate.
Ripley’s Red Train Nights of Lights Tour
Enjoy stories of the ancient city while you ride the Ripley’s Red Train through the cobblestone streets. Take in all of the lights and magic that come with this fun-filled ride. The tour includes access to a marshmallow roasting pit, a giant snow globe, visits with Santa, holiday movies, a balloon twister and more! Head over to Ripley’s Believe It or Not on San Marco Avenue between December 9th and January 31st from 6pm to 8pm for the time of your life!
Nights of Lights Under the Sea
Imagine the delight when you see Santa swimming with the fish! Take a moment and enjoy ornament making, S’mores creations, elves, SNOW, a diving Santa, mermaids, hot chocolate and more! Celebrate the Holidays at the St. Augustine Aquarium on Friday & Saturday nights throughout December from 6pm to 8pm!
This Christmastide Concert
The St. Augustine Community Chorus presents its annual Holiday program in the beautiful Cathedral Basilica. This Christmastide features John Rutter’s Magnificat with full chorus, chamber orchestra, organ, Anna Eschbach, soprano soloist, and the St. Augustine Youth Chorus. All this and more, including traditional Christmas carols that will get you in the holiday spirit. To enjoy this experience visit the Cathedral Basilica on Cathedral Place on Saturday, December 14th at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 15th at 2pm.
Santa Suits on the LOOSE 5K 2019
Choose a Santa Suit or shirt (100 available) to wear during the 8th Annual Santa Suits on the Loose 5k run/walk hosted by St. Augustine Youth Services. The race starts and ends at the St. Johns Beach Pier Park on St. Augustine Beach. You will find a ton of Santa’s at 350 A1A Beach Blvd. St. Augustine, FL on Saturday, December 14th at 8am.
Santa Paws HoliDog Pawty
Santa Paws is coming to town! St. Augustine is one of the most dog-friendly destinations around. Bring your party animal to the Guy Harvey Resort on Saturday, December 21st from 4pm to 6pm and help break their own record of the most Santa Dogs at a single event! Dress your best friend in any kind of festive Santa costume and come down for a howling good time.
Carols by Candlelight
Enjoy a tradition of gathering and caroling in the heart of downtown St. Augustine when Coquina Community Church choir presents a Christmas Carol celebration under the gorgeous St. Augustine Nights of Lights. Join the fun Tuesday, December 24th from 6pm to 8pm.
Beach Blastoff – An amazing way to ring in the New Year!
Ring in the new decade with fireworks, family activities and more at the annual New Year’s Eve event at St. Johns County Ocean Pier Park. Enjoy the fun on December 31st at 4pm! Get ready to say goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020.
Roaring 20’s Party – New Year’s Eve
Welcome, 2020 with a roaring 20’s New Year’s Celebration. Dance the night away with live entertainment from Empire East, a 7-piece band that will set the mood for the evening. New Year’s Eve Aboard The Black Raven
Join the crew of the Black Raven pirate ship as they sail into the New Year for their 11th Annual New Year’s Eve Party! The party will include adult humor, skits, and songs along with dinner and a champagne toast at Midnight! There is a full bar available on the ship. Climb aboard Tuesday, December 31st from 10:30pm to 12:30pm and celebrate pirate style.
