Beacher’s Lodge is More Like Home Away From Home
The best part of staying at a St. Augustine vacation rental like Beacher’s Lodge is that you can feel more at home. Some of our units have full size kitchens which allows you to make as many meals as you’d like, instead of getting ready to go to a restaurant for every meal. Families that stay with us love this amenity so that their kids can get what snacks and meals they want when they want them. No need to worry about standing in long lines at the restaurants after a long day of soaking up the rays at the beach.
You might say that if you stay at a hotel you get a free breakfast. Many travelers know that due to Covid-19 free breakfast has been eliminated at many hotels. Not only do you have to get dressed to go get breakfast when you stay at a hotel, but most don’t have coffee pots in the room unless you request it. And we might add that many times you have to go get the coffee pot. Now that is not very vacation-like in our opinion. All of our units including our studios have a coffee pot and microwave. We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible to ensure they enjoy their Florida vacation.
In most hotels your room is just that, a room with a bed and bathroom. We can offer that as well in our studio units, however ours still come with a small kitchenette to give you that slight sense of home. Just like a hotel, we also provide regular housekeeping, something you won’t find with a vacation home rental in St. Augustine. When you rent a vacation home rental, you have to do your own housekeeping during your stay. Who wants to do that?
In our other units, like our suites, your bedroom is separate from your living space. We love this layout. It gives you a chance to retreat from the day and fully relax in your beach bedroom that is uniquely decorated. For couples that have that one partner that sleeps in longer than the other, it allows the other one to go ahead and get their cup of coffee in the morning and watch the waves roll in without disturbing their sleeping beauty. It’s a true vacation experience like no other.
